#Out of sight out of mind

Whether you are a beginner in the online world of making money, or a seasoned online business guru. You must make it a point to cover all of the fundamentals of business.
Just because you know what needs to be done, that doesn‘t mean that the people that are joining your team know what needs to be done as well.  Remember to lead by example, because your team is going to duplicate what they learn from you so teach them right the first time. The more you prepare the less you repair. That being said I am going to start by saying this. There is a lot of truth to this old saying “ out of sight out of mind”.. If you do not physically see your goals in front of you. You will forget what they are! Out of sight out of mind. You want to have your goals posted everywhere. I have a detailed list of my goals in front of my computer at home. I have a goals list on my refrigerator.  I have my list of goals posted next to my door so I don’t forget anything as I am leaving the house. I have my goals list in my phone as my screen saver. I have another copy of my goals in my office. The more places you have your goals the more focused you are on accomplishing them. Here’s something I encourage everyone to do. As you accomplish things on your goals list. Highlight them and put a time and a date on them. This will make a really cool timeline for yourself, and at the same time you are actually tracking your progress. You should set personal goals for yourself on a daily basis. I want to hit my first goal in my new online business venture within my first 7 to 10 days. After that shoot for your next goal.  The more competitive you are in business,  the better you become in business. I am very competitive in business. Since I am in business with my friends. We are constantly raising the bar in business. We have races to see who can hit all of their goals first. We made it into a fun game, even though it’s business we have fun with it.. After you have completed everything on your goals list. Make a new list but this time set your goals a little bit higher. If we are constantly raising the bar. We will always have something to work towards.  Every step forward is a step in the right direction. The only time you should look back is to see how far you have come.

Since you are going to be with them for a few hours, try seeing if anyone they know is available that day. You will be shocked and amazed at how much you can do if you think ahead just a little bit. Honestly think about it how cool would it be sitting and talking with your new associate, and talking to one or two of their friends that have free time. Winners don’t just show up on game day and run out onto the field expecting to score. Treat every prospect as a buyer

If you pre-qualify your arrogance and ignorance will eventually sabotage your success. Treat everyone like a buyer until they prove otherwise. When you play “guess who the buyers, or  Representatives are “ you are the loser. Pre-qualifying not only disrespects your prospects, it develops bad habits that inhibit your success. If you think you can guess who is qualified to buy and who is not strictly by how someone looks, talks dresses or based on the car they drive up in, here’s some news for you: GET REAL, YOUR NOT THAT GOOD.

Follow your sales process with each prospect

Sticking to the steps to the sale is another diligent daily discipline. You must become brilliant in the basics of your sales process and respect each prospect enough to engage them with each sales step. Every step you skip during the process sabotages your efforts to close the sale. You must especially take time to build rapport and know your customers needs, because until they buy into you as a sales person they won’t buy in to what you’re trying to sell them. Giving compelling product presentations and demonstrations is also key, because they get the prospect emotionally involved and without triggering their emotions your only closing tool is logic: aka, dropping the price.

#Image is everything !!! Attention for the first time ever I am endorsing a company on my blog, because these tailor made suits are made to perfection !!!

The one thing I know is that image is everything. Every time I do a seminar,or walk into a boardroom, or have an in-house meeting  I wear a suit, tie, dress shirt, dress socks, and dress shoes for four simple reasons.

 4. The one thing you have to keep in mind is that you are now representing a company, whether it’s your own business or an MLM business. All companies and all industries are in a trillion dollar market place. How much money you can earn is entirely up to you. Almost every industry out there has no salary cap, what that means is you have the potential to make more money than football players in the NFL. Everything boils down to professionalism. Your appearance will be judged by people you are talking to. Your knowledge of the company you are representing will be questioned. The integrity of your business will be decided by people who only know you by the way you look, talk, and act, so act professional.
Quick Example: If the owner of a trillion dollar company offered you a job. Would you show up on your first day of work in a WHO FARTED T-shirt, shorts and sandals ???

#To project a professional image always be organized

Since we have covered your starting point. Now I want to take a second and talk about foundation. When you are building any business from the ground up. One of the first things you are going to want to do is get organized. First it will make everything you are doing now and in the future much easier. Also if you put a system into play in the beginning you won’t have to try and create one later when things get more complex. Being organized is also great when you are dealing with new clients, prospects or customers. When you can find a file with ease it gives off the sense that you are a professional and you should be taken seriously. You are the image of your company, and you want that image to be positive. When someone asks you a question about something you should have an answer. If they want to see a document you should be able to produce it, not search for it. I mean honestly how professional is this. Telling a potential client, prospect, customer hold on a second I just need to locate that file, or paperwork, or receipt or tracking number. You will look like a fool, and anyone with common sense is not going to invest their time and money into what ever you are doing or selling and that’s a fact. Always present a positive image to everyone around you, and that goes double for the way you dress as well. #Getting organized is the first step.

                                   Generate storage space when none exists

If you have faced the problem of not having enough storage space, you know that everything can become a cluttered , disorganized mess. Storage space can be easily added through shelving, cabinet installation, drawers, storage units, bookcases and file cabinets. Shelves are inexpensive, easy to install and can store books, files, binders, supplies or what ever you need. Cabinets are a bit more expensive, more permanent option and are nice, because they conceal your materials. Storage units and plastic containers are great for holding large supplies, like printer paper and folders.
                                                  Manage your mail
 It’s easy to let mail pile up, but save yourself time in the long run and deal with incoming mail immediately. Sort your mail as soon as it arrives. Throw away junk mail, forward mail to the appropriate people when necessary. Open and separate the rest of the mail and file it when appropriate. Categories for filed mail may include bills, mail that needs to be responded to right away, mail that is not urgent, publications, events, ect. If you rely heavily on E-mail communications, you should check your E-mail as often as possible and reply immediately. Use the folders in your electronic mailbox to organize your E-mail.
                                  Guide to organizing your business
 When you organize your business and eliminate the clutter, you will feel reenergized. You will find that you are easily motivated to get strait to work when you don’t have a mess to deal with. You will save time otherwise wasted looking through piles or searching for a missing document on your computer. Begin by establishing a plan. Prioritize your list, set a date with yourself and identify your motivation. Also make folders specifically for receipts, and any expenses that are business related. This will come in very handy at the end of the year when you do your taxes and you need to write off what expenses you incurred during the course of the year. Also if you have a problem with any equipment you know where to find the receipt. There should be 12 folders from January through December every month gets a separate folder. You should also use this system for all of your shipping and receiving documents as well.
                                    Create a clutter free desktop
Throw away items you don’t use, like pens that don’t write, old computer disks, and scrap paper. Keep only the supplies you regularly use on your desk. This usually includes several pens and pencils, a stapler, scissors, paperclips, a post-it pad, a note pad, a calendar, and a phone message book. Next, consolidate your office equipment by purchasing multi functional equipment, such as an all in one printer, scanner, copier, fax machine. Use letter trays and file sorters to avoid piles. Finally clean out your drawers and designate a purpose for each one. If your desk has three drawers, consider creating a supply drawer, a personal drawer and an identity drawer, containing items with your company logo on them.
                                     Maintain an efficient filing system
 Files that you do not use anymore, but may need in the future are best stored in file boxes. File boxes can be stored on shelves, in a closet or at an off site storage center to save space. Know what you can throw away and what you can keep. Throw away outdated information. Keep legal documents such as contracts, warranties and tax documents. Organize your files by color coding, alphabetically, or by type of file. Consider having separate drawers for different areas of business, such as clients, finances, media.
                                        Maintain an organized computer
 Keep your computer organized by using helpful software, clearly naming files, saving files to appropriate folders and creating short cuts on your desktop. Shortcuts should be created for all Microsoft office programs, the internet, E-mail and your database. Software you should own includes an up to date version of Microsoft office, virus protection software such as Norton system works, a contact management database, such as ACT!, goldmine and Microsoft project.
